CUEC New IAAC Stakeholder Member

IAAC warmly welcomes CUEC as a new IAAC stakeholder member.  The Camara Uruguaya de Evaluadores de la Conformidad (CUEC), is an association of conformity assessment bodies of Uruguay, its partners are certification bodies, all kinds of testing and analysis laboratories for the quality control of industry and services. CUEC has regional agreements, for example with COECRA (Chamber of Conformity Assessment Bodies of the Argentine Republic) and with ABRAC, the Brazilian Association for Conformity Assessment.  The website of CUEC is www.cuec.org.uy.  CUEC was accepted as an IAAC Stakeholder member, via electronic ballot, as of July 22, 2022.  IAAC stakeholders are an important voice in the development of accreditation in the region.
